I may sound a little bias when I talk about the picturesque Northern Beaches, because we all know its so damn beautiful..BUT there are a few that take the cake for the most amazing spots on the beaches.
Collins Flat – Manly
This little beauty is tucked between the hustle and bustle of Manly and Sydney’s North Head. The absolutely gorgeous secluded beach is the perfect place to escape the crowds, enjoy a quiet swim and a perfect place for a bottle of wine to watch the sun go down.
Fairlight Beach – Fairlight
This beautiful beach offers an amazing mix of sand, water, rock pool and ocean pools.Very easily accessible and just around the corner from the super beautiful, Manly Wharf. This is the ultimate picnic spot, and the perfect place to spend on those...
We all have those days where its too hard to get our butts into gear, our active wear is in the wash and our TV remote is just SO much closer than our runners. BUT speaking from experience, the hardest part of the workout is actually making yourself do it. Plus trust me when I say you never EVER regret a workout.
Here are a few of my tips to get your butt into gear when your relationship with exercise is on the rocks.
Buy yourself new active wear
Set yourself up a serious workout playlist
Set your workout space up a few hours before you start, this way there’s not another excuse to stop before you’ve started
Prepare your workout prior to starting, this will give you a clear idea about what you need to be doing whilst you workout
As some of you might be aware we spend a whole bunch of time road tripping the north and south coast of NSW. Our all time most travelled and most visited place is Seal Rocks. Our little tropical oasis only 3 hours north of Sydney, its safe to say we have had our fair share of road trips mishaps and road trip nails.
In order to nail your next road trip here are a few items we suggest you have on your ‘must have’ packing list.
An EPIC playlist – view our road trop playlist here
Snacks, you could go healthy if you wanted to…but where’s the fun in that? (a packet of chips, starbust lollies and a mineral water are my go to road trip items)
A good book, my absolute favourite read to date is ‘First, We Make the Beast Beautiful’ by Sarah Wilson
A good pair of headphones, and if you like to sing along...
HOLY MANGO, its mango season baby! Those delicious, juicy, tropical mangoes are one of our favourite things about summer. There is nothing better than sitting on the beach, in your Laine Uluwatu full piece peeling back the skin of a juicy mango. A mango for every meal of the day keeps the doctor away ;)….well maybe not but its definitely worth a try.
To celebrate their long awaited arrival, we have complied a list of our all time fav ways to eat mango for you to try out this summer. Mango is an incredibly versatile fruit, so make sure you keep reading to find out our favourite mango recipes, and I’m not kidding…there will be a recipe for each meal of the day, plus more! YAY!
